At this time, there is not a “proper” way to map public restrooms as individual places. The place’s More Info tab has an attribute for restrooms, and that’s currently how we mark their availability. If you believe this rural park is large enough that Wazers would need GPS navigation specifically for a restroom and there isn’t anything else at that restroom’s location that would also be beneficial to Wazers (such as a visitor center) where we could mark restrooms, please provide a permalink of where this point would be so I can do further checking into your suggestion.
I do not think mapping emergency phones will be helpful to the Waze map. In an emergency, if someone has access to Waze, I believe they would use that device to make the emergency call rather than using Waze to search for a phone. Remember that Waze requires cellular service to perform searches. If you still believe the phones should be mapped, please share more about how this may be beneficial.
The forums are a great place to take care of policy-related topics, so it’s great you posted here.
