Ford fixed the problem - either get the update from owner.ford.com or if not listed get the dealer to install it - they did it for me

I don’t always want Waze to open and assume I want to use it. When the phone is plugged into my car and CarPlay fires up Waze barges in whether I want it or not. I have to actually delete the app to shut it down. In the morning before I leave for work I have to reinstall it. Is there another way to shut Waze down in CarPlay, or am I stick with the delete/reinstall method?

Hi guys, I'm driving a 2018 Audi A3 with latest MMI version.
When I plug in the iPhone automatically Waze opens and the display behind the steering wheel is replaced with a compass instead of built-in navi.

I will love to have two separate navigation displays: one in front of the driver showing built-in navi (not active but just showing map) and Waze on the big screen on top of the cockpit.

What is more annoying is the fact that I cannot use my built-in navi unless I completely unplug the iPhone even if I'm not using Waze.

If some log can be useful to dev guys just let me know.

I have currently some very specific audio issues with Waze on iOS and Carplay that I have no hope at all that it could be fixed someday. Unfortunately, after all the long wait, it's impossible to use Waze on Carplay for me right now.

I travel a lot with Spotify playing on Carplay and I would like to prevent Waze from opening on CarPlay when I open the app on the iPhone. The reason for that is that when a notification from Waze is played, the volume controls on my stereo gets all messed up.

Is there any update when Waze will Support Dashboard view? Right now I can only use Google Maps.

Just used Waze in Carplay yesterday, it is awesome! So happy to finally be able to use Waze on a big screen, without having the phone in view!

I have 2 concerns:

1) I really feel that the map quality is not very good. All the road lines are pixelated, very low quality and resolution images. I don't have this issue with Apple or Google Maps. Only in Waze. I think the road lines are too thin, might need to be larger to avoid that strange low quality view.

2) As everyone said, please bring back the gps speedometer like the app!

Yes, i am using 4.59.0.0 on an iPhone X

I have been using Apple Car Play for about two weeks now. I just noticed that the mph on car play is 10 mph faster than I am traveling. I set the cruise control to 70 car play showed I was going 80. When I unplugged from phone Waze said I was going 70. Any ideas why this is happening?
