Update Request: Detroit, MI (Lvl 3 needed)

Post by JBrooks0606
I'm a new editor (level 1).

2 Edits needed, and they're simple turn permissions.

You'll see on the map a "Fourth Ave" which was missing. I created the new road, and now I need turn permissions in two spots from the major roads - which need level 3 access.

1) At Warren Road going east where you'd turn right onto Fourth Ave, and
2) At Anthony Wayne Drive heading South, where it meets the parking lot road going towards 4th. (It's the road with the red outline due to the access error.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

I found the area you're referring to, and made the change, but there's a couple things to go over here.

First, when referencing a segment you need an edit to, using a permalink is the easiest way to direct other editors to where you're talking about. Take a look at this wiki page to learn how to create a permalink to share.

Secondly, the road you created from Anthony Wayne to 4th isn't red because of the turn, it's red because you didn't specify a street name or city. All segments need to have a state, city, and name, even if it's a parking lot road or driveway. For parking lot roads, you should check the 'None' box for the street name.

I've updated both turns required, but I'll leave the confirmation of that red parking lot road to you. Watch your PM inbox, I'll send you some more reading material for new editors today.

If you need anything else, please feel free to reach out to me directly. :)
