Malls!

Post by robc007
Who keeps deleting the malls?!

The last time I re-created the mall in Ann Arbor, I went out of my way to lock it. Now even the malls in Jackson are gone.

Who is doing this and why?

Wasn't me, but were they big enough to meet the landmark qualifications?

Looks good to me... If you want me to try to lock it at a level 5 let me know (new feature rolling out in the beta - lock levels on landmarks).

I've noticed that a few times myself... If you cycle the layer selection it comes back...

Setting "most" won't solve the problem, only change it. Set everything in the mall area--including all the roads leading into the mall area from public roads outside--as a parking lot road to get the correct routing from any parking place.

Oh, this is weird. The WME Landmarks layer must have turned itself off? When I clicked new landmark in the menu, the mall magically appeared.

On a more productive tangent...

All but one of the mall entrances are set to Parking Lot Road. This is adding something like a full mile to the route for people at the other end of the mall to get to the one "Street".

I'm going to set most or all of the entrances to "Street" and lock them at level 3 to fix that.
