M-99 Closed Until Aug 16
I've sent a message to MDOT asking for more details. There is a detour set up, but I'm uncertain which part of the highway is closed.

MDOT says they need to fix their map. The textual description is accurate.
M-99 TOTAL CLOSURE
From: 6/1/2013, 8 AM
To: 8/16/2013, 3 PM
Location: Northbound and southbound M-99 between Zuehlke Road and Deveraux Road
Description: M-99 is closed for culvert construction over Rice Creek.
Detour: Southbound: east on Deveraux Road, south on Parma Road to I-94. Northbound: north on Parma Road, west on Denver Road to M-99.

I noticed today there's a barricade right there on the north side of I-94 just past the on ramp. So I'm still not clear which part and how much of M-99 is actually closed. I'm hoping the disconnected culvert is enough to steer everyone away from that whole area.
