Having experienced life before GIS Layers was around, it is a wonderful script and a huge thanks! to those who built and maintain it!
I have noticed some odd behavior, I'm running latest Chrome browser/tampermonkey with only GIS-Layers.
I currently have GIS-Layers off
under Settings I have PA selected,
under Layers, I have several counties with items selected,
and I have "Show applicable layers" checked.
With the script marked "off" I believe most editors would expect perhaps a bare minimum of initialization, then no further action. The script is actually reading the controlling spreadsheet and is trying to fetch layers during initialization even though it is "off," although it does not continue to load layers as you pan around the map.
I like to keep GIS-Layers in the background so that I can turn it on and off quickly when needed to address specific issues, but this could be a cause in the laggyness I've been seeing using WME, especially when 1 or more layers are having issues.

These are not truly errors, but the 2nd block below does take a noticeable time and occurs anytime I need to do a hard refresh in WMEGIS Layers: Loaded 4539 layer definitions in 2145 ms.
GIS Layers: US Census counties: delaware
GIS Layers: Fetching 2 layers...
GIS Layers: (2) [{…}, {…}]

GIS Layers: Request URL: https://dcgis.co.delaware.pa.us/arcgis/ ... 857&f=json
This next error occurs 763 times during initialization, I realize this is not blocking the script but it takes time and appears to be another contributor to laggyness.[Report Only] Refused to connect to 'https://sheets.googleapis.com/v4/spread ... ZUgVEsNMTU'

As I recall, GGrane scoured all of the GIS sites available in PLN and added every layer that he could find to the script.

When I click the power button to toggle GIS Layers on and off, the layers toggle but the power button does not change from grey to green. Upon investigating, this happens when TB is running.

Today's WME update looks to have broken GIS-L.

I love GIS Layers! There's just one problem, the font. The 8s and the 6s are nearly identical, which forces me to spend time figuring out what it should be. please change the font to something more legible when it comes to 8s and 6s. or please give us the option to pick our own font. thanks.
I am an editor from Nebraska. I've noticed that only a few select counties are available in my state. Luckily, my county of residence is one of these, but I was wondering if the limited selection is due to usage rights or limited time on the part of the script author to add more. I greatly appreciate the work you do, MapoMatic, I could never have inputted as many house numbers as I have without your work!

I could link a couple others that are not currently available to meehepner1977 wrote:As I recall, GGrane scoured all of the GIS sites available in PLN and added every layer that he could find to the script.
