I'm just waiting for someone to have a car accident fumbling with their phone troubleshooting. Waze and Apple better fix the issue or lawyer up.
I wasn't saying you have to unplug the cable, I'm just saying that is what I have seen to resolve the issue for me. It has required one of the following:
- Unplug cable and plug back in
- force quit and re-open waze
