Missouri Road Naming Standards
Summary of how to name numbered roads (current standards):
US Highways: US Hwy xx
State Highways: State Hwy xx | State Rte xx
County Roads: CR-xx
Updated Standard Proposal:
Proposal to remove "Hwy" from the name and use US-xx , SR-xx (state route). Other states are going this way and apparently Waze has said in the future that if the segments are named this way then the "shield" icons will eventually appear on them (once a fix is put in by Waze).
Remember to follow the Wiki guidelines!
Alley's - Should be marked as Parking Lot Roads, named "Alley" and turn restrictions set properly.
Split Roads - Please do NOT split roads that do not have a clear gap in the GPS points at 100 M zoom (Or have another compelling reason to be split). There should be a barrier between the segments wider than about 15 meters (roughly 40 to 50 feet wide). Remember that consumer GPS devices are not pinpoint accurate!

If you are a Level 3 (Area Manager) or above, please make sure that the Interstates are named correctly (I-xxx [N,S,E,W if applicable] ) with no space between the I the hyphen and the numbers (IE I-XXX NOT I- xxx or I - XXX ) Interstate segments and any connecting Ramp segments should be locked!
State Highway's - I've noticed (especially in the rural area's), that many State Highways have issues. These will be cleaned up on a best efforts basis
