Waze is a free navigation app for your GPS equipped smartphone. Waze includes spoken turn-by-turn directions, free map updates you can help make, searches by road and place names, landmarks and Google Local Search and real-time traffic updates from other wazers. Social networking and gaming elements are optional features.

We can help you getting started using Waze, show you how to improve and edit the maps and invite you to make Waze even better. Like all navigation apps Waze is not yet perfect but we have lots of new developments coming. And source code and information on changes and how Waze works is available for the technically minded.

Waze gets better when you just drive around with Waze turned on. You don't need to do anything. Read how this amazing process works.
