Purpose: To let area managers divide the work and communicate status

Road Complete - Specification

  1. All junctions are set correctly
    - No junctions to roads crossing over/under a Freeway/Highway/Major road
    - Junction set far enough in advance of turn so Waze will alert for turns before driver is 'in' the turn area. This may mean the junction is a little in advance of the physical turn
  2. If applicable, segment is broken into separate one way roads
  3. Segment direction is correct and in line with flow from connected segments
  4. Segment is locked to hold the direction and geometry
  5. Connectivity is correct - ramp and freeway all connected correctly
  6. Turn restrictions are correct
    - generally this is 'allow all turns' and Waze handles not sending you up a one way
  7. Make sure levels are set correctly, e.g. roads that cross over have a higher level number than the one that passes under it, which can be tricky for complicated freeway junctions
  8. Road name is accurate and reflects real-world road name on the ground.

Priority of effort

  1. US Freeways / State Tollways
  2. Major US Highways that connect to the freeways/tollways above
  3. Major State Highways that connect to the freeways/tollways above
  4. Roads that connect at the other exits on freeways and highways
