Marking Airplane Police feature request

I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to request it (I’ve never looked at the waze forums before). Please let me know if there’s a better place for this.

There’s a highway I drive regularly that has, about once a month, a speed trap they set up where they will have an officer in an airplane with a stop-watch and they have markings on the highway at specific distances and they just calculate how fast you’re going. They then have a set of cruisers on the ground that will pull you over and issue a ticket.

They have signs next to the cruisers that indicate “airplane speed monitoring in use” or something along those lines, but by the time you see that sign, you’ve already gone through the speed trap. If someone marks the speed trap on Waze, it only warns you a half-mile from where the cruisers are. It would be really nice if users could mark the airplane-monitored speed trap when they see those signs and then have the speed trap warning on the app show up 3-5 miles ahead if you’re on that road.

Beyond the speed trap portion, this also helps as it tends to cause traffic jams above and beyond normal when that set of police cruisers are pulling in and out of the highway trying to pull over all the cars the airplane officer has told them to, so having a heads up that this situation is in front of you would be helpful.
