Tung Chung Eastern Interchange has been set unfavoured in routing since 2022. However, while the Interchange has no traffic light unlike what the note left by another editor writes, I do not see why it is unfavoured.
As the development over Tung Chung North proceeds, the traffic light mechanism in the area has been improved with shorter waiting times. Meanwhile, traffic jams in the town centre are occurring more frequently with backflow to the Tung Chung North exit of North Lantau Highway. And cars going through the same exit to Tung Chung North by turning right would also need to wait for the same number of traffic lights. Lowering the priority of the Interchange makes no sense to me.
Please assist in changing the routing priority back to neutral. Thanks!
