Hi Magaly, are we going to venture in Facebook, Twitter and what other social networks? It will be good to have the tips coming from our teams, it will force us to study and present a preview to you, then you can check it and give the aproval. I think is a good way to learn.

Ad manager is part of the advertisement system on Facebook. We don’t pay for advertising therefore we can’t target audience.

I was going to write the same. Here we totally avoid paying … once you do it once, facebook does not show your posts anymore without payment.

Then you try, make an interesting point for the community, but Face will not show until the money goes out of your account. :frowning:

No, that’s not true. It will show your posts without paying. It’s more an urban legend :wink:

Well, this is a case of personal perception.
I have examples, but this is not our focus.
The important thing is that this tool can only help the pages that make ADS.

The Waze Brazil Community has accounts in the following social media:

-Instagram
-Facebook
-Youtube
-G +

To better manage these media, we created a mini project (new ideals) to define rules / good practices, responsible for each media account and how the didactics would work.

There are 28 fanpages (one for each state), in instagram, youtube and G + there is only one central account for the whole community.

Even before we came across this forum, we already had this attention, in 2015 a social media guide was created for the Brazilian community, but this idea only started in the second half of this year. The guide is now being adapted to the new ideas and suggestions of the Community Social Media hub. So those responsible for the media have a document to guide us to make the media as cool as possible, such as tips on what to post, what to pay attention to, and so on …!

The proposal of the social media maintained by the Brazilian community is to be collaborative made by the community (for everyone)! We post the media in the forum and everyone can submit post suggestions.

Some data:

  • Instagram: After the implementation of the new ideas the same had an increase more than 100% in the number of followers;

  • Facebook:
    We analyze the page of a certain state (Rio Grande do Sul) and:

Referring to posts:
In the last 3 months, after the implementation of the “project” of social networks, there were 62 publications with a total reach of 18.382. We noticed a great involvement considering that the 3 months prior to the beginning of the project the same page had 12 posts.

Likes: Before there were 1471 likes, now 1.588.

The cool thing is that those responsible for the media are well involved and are always keeping them updated, their commitment is impressive!

Ah, and we’re concerned to make it clear that social media is maintained by the community.

Carol “forgot” :roll: to mention that she has been coordinating this project of revitalizing social networks, with all the merits.

The great highlight of the project is that each responsible for fanpage and other state social medias like youtube and instagram seeks to involve other editors of the region in the generation of the material.

So, in addition to improving the indicators of the fanpages and hence the contact with the users of the app, we also strengthen the friendship of the local editors communities.

In addition to the rare combined posts on all fanpages when there is a commemorative date, those in charge are in a Hangout group and share suggestions for posts to be made by the others, including creating videos on how to use waze functions.

In summary, with this project, Carol has been able to improve communication with the user, between publishers from several states and also the communication between publishers of the same region. Everybody wins!
